Dok is a master of versatility, exploring various mediums, though he holds a special love for charcoal and oil. Mosaic is another cherished art form, alongside his pottery and his newfound passion for sculpture.
Woodworker Extraordinaire:
Dok’s love for woodwork began in his youth and became a creative outlet during his school years. Over the decades, he has crafted furniture, sold pieces at markets, and, in retirement, discovered a new passion for creative woodturning.
His works combine colored resin with natural elements like crushed shells, pearls, and seeds, showcasing a harmonious blend of nature and craftsmanship.
Bonsai Enthusiast:
Approaching his 80th birthday in 2025, Dok proves that age is no barrier to growth.
"One is never too old to plant a tree," he says with a smile, nurturing his young bonsais with care and affection.
Listening to him talk to his trees is a testament to his profound connection with nature.

For Susan, creativity flows naturally in everything she does.
She revels in the vibrancy of color, often choosing oil as her medium while embracing the freedom of mixed media.
Her art often features flowers and landscapes, but her true delight lies in painting the ever-changing beauty of clouds, capturing their delicat, yet powerful essence.
Teacher
What makes a great teacher? Susan believes it’s when students surpass their mentor.

Susan also hosts workshops on demand, sharing her knowledge and passion with aspiring artists.
